Spirit of Sport Challenge, 2007
We produced a series of heats across Scotland and Northern Ireland and a finals evening based around the BBC's hugely successful 'Question of Sport' quiz to promote Diageo's sponsorship of Glasgow's bid to host the 2014 Commonwealth Games. The events involved hundreds of employees and a number of sites.
The Outsider Festival, 2007
Red Sky at Night co-ordinated the sponsor's media strategy, managed key outside contractors and were responsible for VIP hospitality for the Outsider music festival near Aviemore. Among the headline acts appearing were KT Tunstall and Crowded House.
Alternative Burns Evening
In 2002 we created an 'Alternative Burns Evening', celebrating the work of Scotland's national bard in front of a broad spectrum of VIP guests. Following on from the huge success of this and a similar event in 2005, a host of well known actors, including Brian Cox and Siobhan Redmond, appeared as part of the evening's entertainment in 2006.
Global Leadership Summit
Red Sky at Night produced and managed a glittering Gala Dinner for the Global Leadership Summit held in the Grand Hall of Stirling Castle in September 2006. The event was hosted by the CEO Paul Walsh and attended by the Executive Board and the global directors.
Launch of Johnnie Walker Blue Label King George V
We produced a unique launch event for this prestigious brand at Stirling Castle in September 2006. The banquet was devised and cooked by Nick Nairn and enjoyed by VIP guests from across the world.
